Joe Volpe is former Minister of Human Resources & Skills Development, former Minister of Immigration and long time MP for Eglinton-Lawrence. His long history with the party in Ontario will go a long way and his organization will be among the best in the expected large field of contenders. Whether his support outside Ontario will be there to put him in a top 5 finish is yet to be seen, he is well liked and respected within the party.
